I'm taking a little Montreal trip this weekend. I'm going to I<3NEON on Saturday and probably getting really fucked up for A Touch of Class, then Sunday I'm DJing at Korova on Heidy's night "WEEKEND NEVER END." I'm also hitting the studio with Numero and Pierre Crube from Avant-Avant to lay down our first cross-country, français-anglais collaboration!!

So mes homies Quebecois I better see yall one of those nights, if I can see straight!

Hopefully I'll have time to actually visit some shit there... I've always wanted to see Habitat 67.

Mocky feat. Feist: Fightin' Away the Tears

Mocky has a new single, collaborating again with Feist. This is a really smooth rainy day track, an odd pick for a single, but it's definitely an amazing song. Mocky does the standard Mocky on the track (off time poetry to whiteboy nerd rap to soft singing- trust me, I had to get used to it too before it 'clicked'). Feist of course has a great voice, and the track itself is another gem from Mocky's studio. Those of you who jumped on the (well-desevered) Jamie Lidell hype train, just know that Mocky collaborated on several tracks on Multiply. Maybe he'll finally get some attention too when his new album drops...
